We understand what it’s like to work as a mover, so we offer permanent or seasonal full-time or part-time positions. The choice is yours!
Established in Montreal for several years now, Déménagement Constant handles residential and commercial moves in the heart of Montreal, on the North Shore and on the South Shore, over short and long distances.
What does a mover do?
- Dismantles and assembles furniture
- Wraps furniture to keep it protected
- Loads and unloads the truck
- Carries the customer’s furniture and personal belongings
- Keeps equipment and tools in order
- Follows health and safety standards
Extra tasks for moving drivers
- Drive the 18 to 20 foot truck
- Keep the truck clean
- Respect road safety regulation
Required skills and attitude :
- Reliable, hard-working, courteous and punctual
- Responsible and serious about customer care
- Physically fit and able to lift hefty items
- Versatile and resourceful
- Fluent in French
- For moving drivers:
- A valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- A class 3 license is a plus
